EN000C - General index and frequent asked questions

Your company has been registered as a client in the SerCAE One platform, that works as a business Community for the document management. There will be other companies registered too:
  1. Some of them will act as suppliers and will work for the client companies, either directly or subcontracted by another supplier which, in turn, works for the client.
  2. Other ones, as yours, will act as clients, and some suppliers will work for them.

As a client, you will have a list of the suppliers that work for your company and of the contracts - works through which these suppliers are contracted by you. These contracts - works will specify a period of validity and the location where the work takes place. The platform enables any client to invite a supplier to join a work whose documentation is managed in SerCAE One.

SerCAE One allows to consult and manage every document that suppliers have to provide regarding each company itself or its elements (workers, equipment) to meet the requirements requested by your company as their client. It will enable you to know in advance their compliance for every document request and, as a result of this, the access authorisation for their workers, vehicles and items of machinery to enter the sites. Each document request has been defined according to some attributes, that will affect the way to be requested, its expiry dates and the effects of its validation on the accreditation or the authorisation to access the facilities of the client.

There will be users on behalf of every company registered so they can access the plataform with their own passwords. The users of the  client companies are defined according to different roles that will delimit their data vision and their access to functionalities.
 
When the session starts, the home screen enables to access different functionalities. The design of the screen provides easy-to-use navigation options and clear information of the path of the current screen.

Basically, the platform envisages 3 levels or scopes. Some actions are carried out in each one of them:
  1.      The Community scope, where suppliers are registered and where these companies register their elements (workers, equipment) as well.
  2.      The client scope.
  3.      The contract - work scope.

Scopes in SerCAE One

Various actions are available for the user. They can be divided into thematic areas for clarity:

  1. Managing own data ► of my company and its users, including the notifications they will receive from SerCAE One.
    1.      Managing my own user.
    2.      Managing other users of my company.
    3.      Managing my company.

  1. Associating suppliers and their elements (workers, equipment) to your company and to the contracts - works they take part in ► Although all these tasks correspond to the Operation User and the Supplier User, the Client User may have been given permissions to perform them too.

  2.      Associating / editing / ending the association of workers of a supplier to my client company.
  3.      Associating / editing / ending the association of items of equipment (vehicles, machinery) of a supplier to my client company.
  4.      Associating / ending the association of one supplier to one contract - work.    
  5.      Associating / ending the association of workers to one contract - work.
  6.      Associating / ending the association of items of equipment (vehicles, machinery) to one contract - work.
