EN054C - Subcontracting Tree-View

As we know, for every project my company takes part in, some steps must be followed:

SerCAE One administrator
Associating the company to the client it works for

Associating the company to the contract - work it takes part in
SerCAE One administrator
Registering the elements (workers, equipment) of the company
Supplier User
Associating the elements of the company to the client

Supplier User

By associating the company and its elements to a contract - work, SerCAE will know the activity to be carried out, its period of time and, in an indirect way, the location where it will take place.

The consult of the contracts - works registered for the suppliers of one client is accessible following 2 paths:
  1. At the Services and works screen.
  2. At the Subcontracting Tree-View screen.
This second options is avaible at the menu as follows:

Menu option

At the tree we can see a complete information about the contracts - work where every supplier is associated to:
  1. The service each contract - work belongs to as well as its status in terms of validity and its duration period.
  2. The contract - work status in terms of validiy and its duration period.
  3. The level of the supplier at the subcontracting chain.
    1. It is 1 if the supplier is contracted directly by the client.
    2. It is >1 if the supplier is contracted by another company that works for the client.
  4. The suppliers subcontracted by each supplier.

Subcontracting tree-view

At the top of the screen, some filters enable a more accurate search.
  1. We can search one specific company.
  2. Status of the contract - work in terms of validity.
    1. Not started.
    2. In process.
    3. Finalised.
  3. Functional / Physica environments.

The main area of the screen shows the nodes or 'branches' of the tree. They are represented in a hierachical order as follows.

The secondary button of the mouse enable to perform an action. These will be available depending on the level of the tree we are in.

Actions available at different nodes of the subcontracting tree-view

Actions available:
  1. At the service node.
    1. Consulting / editing / replanning / finalising the service.
    2. Adding a new work within the service.
    3. Consulting the document requests due to the association to some contracts - works, so we can see the current documentation requested by the client once filtered by the contract - works belonging to this service.
  2. At the contract - work node.
    1. Consulting / editing / replanning / finalising the contract - work.
    2. Associating a new supplier to the contract - work.
    3. See the list of suppliers associated to this contract - work.
    4. Consulting the document requests due to the association to this contract - work, so we can see the current documentation requested by the client once filtered by this very contract - work.
  3. At the node of the association of one company to the contract - work at any level.
    1. Consulting the details of the contract - work and associating / disassociating elements (workers, equipment) of the companies already associated to this contract - work.
    2. Associating / disassociating a subcontractor to this contract - work.
    3. Consulting the documentation requested due to the association to this contract - work.
