EN053C - Associating a subcontracted company to one contract - work it takes part in
SerCAE One enables that a supplier subcontracts another supplier for a contract - work, so the second one will appear at the subcontracting chain at a higher level. This is shown in a visual way at the Subcontracting Tree-View screen.
This action is carried out at the contract - work scope.
Contract - work scope
This can be done at the Assigned work details screen. We gain access to it when clicking on the secondary button of the mouse at the subcontracting tree node of the company the subcontractor will work for.
Associating a subcontractor to one contract - work
When clicking on ASSOCIATE SUBCONTRACTORS at the Subcontractors tab, a window will ask to select the company and to specify the subcontracting period of time.
- It is necessary that the company has been previously associated to the client.
- The period of time of the subcontractor cannot exceed that of the association of the main contractor to the contract - work.
Although the contract - work could have an undefined end date, it is mandatory to specify both start and end dates for subcontractors.
